What methods should be noted when maintaining a medium-frequency steel shell furnace?
Medium-frequency steel-shell furnaces are widely used and operate at very high frequencies, so their maintenance involves certain key points. Let’s take a look together below:

How to Improve the Insulation of Medium-Frequency Induction Furnaces
Medium-frequency induction furnaces, with their obvious advantages in environmental protection and energy conservation, have gained widespread adoption. However, selecting a high-quality insulation varnish for furnace coils—and ensuring the insulation of induction coils—has become a significant obstacle to the large-scale development of these furnaces.

Why are people starting to use Luoyang medium-frequency steel shell furnaces?
In the medium-frequency melting industry today, medium-frequency steel-shell furnaces are structurally divided into two types: steel-shell furnaces with magnetic yokes and hydraulic tilting mechanisms, and aluminum-shell furnaces equipped with gear-reduction tilting systems. These furnaces boast a long service life—typically over 10 years under normal operating conditions—and excellent stability. This is due to the use of magnetic conductors, which serve two key functions:

How to achieve energy savings during the melting process in medium-frequency induction furnaces?
In China, casting primarily provides castings for mechanical products. However, casting is also a primary industry characterized by high energy consumption and low profitability. Energy conservation is therefore an important aspect of medium-frequency induction furnaces.

What should I do if the medium-frequency induction furnace malfunctions?
When a medium-frequency induction furnace malfunctions, it can affect the efficiency of casting production. Therefore, identifying the root cause of the fault is something we should always be prepared to do. By looking beyond the surface phenomena to grasp the underlying essence, it becomes especially crucial to trace the source of the problem once a fault arises.

What is the function of the magnetic yoke in a medium-frequency steel-shell furnace? Let’s first take a look at what a magnetic yoke is. Typically, a magnetic yoke refers to a soft magnetic material that does not itself generate a magnetic field (magnetic flux lines) but merely serves as a conduit for transmitting magnetic flux within a magnetic circuit. Magnetic yokes are commonly made from soft iron, A3 steel, and soft magnetic alloys—materials with relatively high permeability. In certain special applications, ferrite materials may also be used to fabricate magnetic yokes. Thanks to the presence of the magnetic yoke, we can direct the magnetic flux generated by energized coils or permanent magnets to the locations where it’s needed—this principle is somewhat analogous to how an electrical circuit works.
