1. Copper Busbars: If the copper busbar retains its original purplish-brown color, it’s not correct. For standard electrical components, it’s best to plate copper parts with white or silver; tin or nickel plating is also acceptable. Since copper surfaces tend to oxidize easily—and the oxidation process tends to worsen over time—the contact resistance will increase, leading to higher power consumption and slower performance. A small number of manufacturers, in an effort to cut costs, skip this crucial step. As a result, while the manufacturer saves a little money, users end up unwittingly paying the price for it over the long term. If you can spare that small amount of money, you’ll become more alert—because saving even a little bit on equipment can lead to significant savings in the long run.
2. Aluminum-shell capacitors: standard, regular, and enhanced types. Generally, you can tell the difference by their external dimensions and weight. The enhanced type is slightly better but comes at a higher price. Currently, 0.75–2000 capacitance technology is still immature, resulting in lower prices but typically shorter service lives.

The advantages and disadvantages of outdoor circuit breakers are immediately obvious: the ones with wooden handles on the right are outdated models—such as DW10 or DW16—and you can also consult an electrician. These outdoor circuit breakers have poor protective performance and cost several times less. When the equipment is operating normally, the circuit breaker merely acts as a switch—it may not seem very important. However, in the event of an accident, it serves as the last line of defense; if it fails to function properly, the consequences could be disastrous.
4. Copper has both advantages and disadvantages, which directly affect performance and power consumption. Although the thickness of copper pipe products isn't visible, you can still infer it from their appearance: Thin copper pipes tend to sag more easily in the middle when bent, and those that sag dramatically—almost like an induction coil—are definitely thin. It’s best to specify the thickness clearly in the contract when purchasing copper pipe fittings; what matters most is not just the price.
5. Reactor: You can see the overall dimensions, including the size and thickness of the copper tube core. The copper tube is quite thick, but the silicon steel laminations are very thin. Silicon steel laminations typically cost several tens of thousands of yuan per ton—high-quality ones can even fetch several tens of thousands of yuan per ton. If the reactor is small, the price difference could be several thousand yuan. A smaller reactor tends to be easier to use, but it will consume more electricity and may compromise protective performance.
6. The radiator is one of the key accessories for medium-frequency equipment. It’s easy to spot that the triangular covers on both sides are chamfered; their normal thickness should be around 5 mm. Otherwise, it’ll be extremely difficult to maintain the rated pressure. How much is iron worth? If you’re even skimping on something as basic as this, you’d better be on your guard!
7. Insulation Treatment: The insulation treatment applied to the surface of inductors plays a critical role in preventing arcing and sparking in electric furnaces, eliminating power supply damage, and averting serious safety hazards such as perforation. The insulating coating must possess excellent high-temperature resistance, adhesion, and water-repellent properties.
