Series Resonant Electric Furnace Technical Solution:
1. The system employs a six-phase dual-power “Y + Δ” 12-pulse rectifier with series-connected rectifier bridges, which reduces the inherent losses of the transformer itself. The 12-pulse rectifier effectively eliminates fifth- and seventh-order harmonic components, significantly reducing harmonic interference in the power grid. The auxiliary equipment and medium-frequency signal power supply can share the same transformer, eliminating the need for a separate power supply and thereby reducing plant investment. Additionally, this design lowers the voltage withstand requirements for rectifier components, consequently reducing equipment maintenance costs. The series-resonant inverter features low switching losses and achieves energy savings of over 20% compared to parallel-resonant power supplies, with a 100% success rate from the outset. This approach also lowers the investment required for power equipment. Meanwhile, by utilizing low-voltage inputs to achieve high-voltage outputs from the inverter components, it further reduces equipment maintenance costs.
2. The power regulation method for series-resonant induction furnaces can employ a rectifier followed by voltage regulation and inverter-based power adjustment. Our company adopts a comprehensive power regulation approach that combines frequency modulation and phase modulation, achieving an exceptionally high overall power factor of cosφ ≥ 0.98. Under any operating condition, the furnace can reach full-power output, effectively shortening the smelting cycle, increasing smelting speed, and reducing thermal losses in the furnace.
3. The load can adopt a “one-to-two” dual-power supply technology: the rectification and filtering circuit system is shared, while two separate inverter circuits supply power to the two furnace bodies, and power adjustment is independently controlled via the two inverter circuits.
4. The transformer can be a “Y△” double-winding transformer, or alternatively, a “Y” transformer and a “△” transformer. The total output power is 2000 kW.
5. Series Resonant Electric Furnace The body is made of hydraulic steel.
6. Powered by our company’s HK-CL12 series of independently developed power control systems, this system features a powerful, user-friendly, and easy-to-operate dedicated variable-frequency control system.
