(1) Dephosphorization during the melting stage: According to the metallurgical reaction mechanism of dephosphorization, the dephosphorization operation should be scheduled during the melting stage, with particular attention paid to four key steps: oxidation of the molten steel, preparation of the initial slag, removal of slag, and secondary slag formation.

Safety Production of Medium-Frequency Induction Furnaces
Production posts are the most fundamental building blocks of safe production; they represent the most critical focus of the “three fundamentals” (foundation, grassroots, and basics) in safety production efforts, and serve as the most basic unit for risk control in enterprise safety production. The casting industry is a high-risk sector characterized by harsh working conditions, high temperatures, and a propensity for accidents such as explosions and burns during production. Trade unions are the defenders of the interests of the broad masses of workers; they act as a bridge and link between enterprises and employees, representing workers’ interests. They bear significant responsibility for safeguarding workers’ safety and health throughout the production process. Therefore, workshop trade unions organize production backbones to conduct research based on the specific characteristics of the casting industry, the actual conditions of the workshop, and years of production experience.

Daily Maintenance of Medium-Frequency Induction Furnaces and Power Supply Care
Generally, manufacturers who have used medium-frequency induction furnaces are well aware that when such furnaces break down, the control panel is usually the component that suffers damage. If the control panel of a medium-frequency induction furnace isn't repaired properly, it can lead to secondary damage. Over time, this cumulative effect can easily render the entire medium-frequency induction furnace unusable. Therefore, to ensure low maintenance costs and long service life for medium-frequency induction furnaces, repairing the control panel thoroughly has become a critical priority.

What checks should be performed before commissioning a thyristor medium-frequency power supply?
① Inspection of Installation Conditions: Before commissioning, it is essential to thoroughly inspect for any desoldered joints and check for short circuits or contact between live conductors. Bare wires that are not at the same electrical potential must not come into contact with the furnace shell or other conductors. Ensure that the internal grounding wire is securely connected, and that the main grounding wire is firmly attached. The cross-sectional area of the copper core used for the grounding wire must be no less than 55 square millimeters. When measuring the resistance between the enclosure and ground on the resistance setting ×1, the reading should be zero. When the three-phase incoming lines enter from the low-voltage switchgear, avoid any contact with the enclosure—especially do not allow the three-phase cables, when bundled together, to rest against the enclosure, as this can lead to energy losses.

Working Principle of the Intermediate-Frequency Power Regulator
The regulator section is equipped with four regulators: an intermediate-frequency voltage regulator, a current regulator, an impedance regulator, and an inverter angle regulator.

The operating principle of the inverter section: This circuit employs a frequency-sweeping zero-voltage soft-start method for inverter triggering. Due to the requirement for automatic frequency adjustment, although the inverter circuit operates in self-excitation mode, the control signal is still derived from the load side.
