    • Commodity name: Thyristor-series resonant intermediate-frequency power supply

The KGCL series series-resonant medium-frequency power supplies, designed and manufactured by Kangda Electric Furnace, are perfectly suited for single-to-two (or multi-to-one) operating modes.

The KGCL series series-resonant intermediate-frequency power supply, designed and manufactured by Kangda Electric Furnace, is perfectly suited for a one-to-two (or one-to-many) operating mode. It enables a melting process in which one furnace melts while another maintains temperature (or multiple furnaces melt while multiple furnaces maintain temperature simultaneously), significantly improving transformer utilization and maximizing efficiency.

    Product Advantages

    1. Energy saving: The power supply boasts high efficiency and saves 20% more energy than conventional equipment.
    2. Efficient: There are no higher-order harmonics, and the power factor is at its highest—exceeding 95%. Consequently, there’s no need for reactive power compensation devices or harmonic elimination equipment. One power supply can simultaneously power one furnace for melting and another furnace for holding and refining. This results in high transformer utilization, allowing you to save half of the costs associated with transformer capacity. With a single power supply driving two electric furnaces, the two furnaces can either cast simultaneously or continuously supply molten steel for casting.
    3. Low failure rate: The lower operating voltage effectively ensures exceptional stability of power devices such as thyristors.
    4. Safety: Few harmonics and low grid pollution effectively ensure electrical safety.

    5. Excellent starting performance: One-to-two electric furnace with arbitrarily adjustable power distribution and a 100% startup rate.

    Product Advantages

    High efficiency
The grid-connected inverter adopts a half-bridge circuit, which reduces the number of components in the main circuit and achieves a high power factor, thus delivering higher power output.
The device features excellent automatic characteristics, enabling smooth and reliable starting under full-load and heavy-load conditions with a 100% success rate. It improves the power factor to ensure that it remains at 95% regardless of the load level. The power output is maintained at a constant level, and during the melting process, even as the load and temperature fluctuate, the device consistently delivers full power output, thereby significantly reducing the melting time.
Equipped with a comprehensive protection and operational status monitoring system.
For example, sensors are used to acquire signals for incoming line current, voltage, circuit current, and circuit voltage, which are then fed into a dual-loop digital circuit to provide current limiting, voltage limiting, overcurrent and overvoltage protection, as well as water temperature and water pressure protection, among other features. Both KK thyristors and KP thyristors feature built-in self-turn-off time protection.
There is a complete testing system.
For the inverter, the operating temperature of the filtering capacitors is monitored by a temperature switch. Once the cooling water temperature exceeds the set value or a water circuit fault occurs, an alarm is triggered and the power supply is cut off. The input of the power supply’s cooling water is controlled by a water pressure relay, while the output cooling water is monitored by a temperature switch that detects undervoltage and overheating; in either case, an alarm is triggered and the power supply is cut off.
